This foundation is constructed using pure, untreated, dried poplar. Our wood is locally harvested from sustainable forests. Our foundations are also assembled without the use of any glue. The flexible wood slats and dowels sit on firm strips of natural rubber to provide a softer support that adapts equally well to a pocket coil or natural rubber mattress. This foundation is finished in pure organic cotton velour, a Green Sleep signature feature, which matches our entire line of mattresses to perfection.
