WJ Southard

The WJ Southard family comes from a long line of snoozers. WJ Southard opened his mattress store in Syracuse, NY in 1915. Back then, most jobs were labor intensive. Southard's goal was to craft mattresses so that every body could get the rest it needed after a long day of hard, back-breaking work.

We have learned a lot of things since 1915. Mostly that old is the new new. And, we handcraft your mattress using the same materials and techniques we used almost 100 years ago. The end result is a mattress that's better for you and the environment.
